One of two core programs CAPRI provides its membership; the Liability Program provides coverage to $20 million per occurrence for general and automobile liability and public officials errors and omission. CAPRI self-funds coverage up to $1 million; losses that exceed this amount are covered through reinsurance and excess policies.  This Program also includes Employment Practices Liability which is subjected to a $20,000 deductible in addition to a 10% co-insurance clause up to $500,000. CAPRI will pay any ultimate net loss in excess of $500,000.

 

CAPRI provides its members with proactive claim oversight and litigation management by working closely the third party claims administrator as well as the member district.
